We’re Hiring: Software Engineers

DIR-ACE Technology Ltd., (DAT) is a joint-venture company between Daiwa Institute of Research and ACE Data Systems. The company was founded in 2013 with the recognition to support the system construction and IT services for the establishment of Capital Market Development in Myanmar. DAT has been developing information systems for Japanese customers in Japan, and financial organizations in Myanmar.

For several challenging offshore Projects from Japan, DAT is looking for (2-SEs) Software Engineers with following qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and implementation.
  2. Prepare basic and detailed design specifications, including Use Case Diagrams, ERD, DFD, detailed process flows, and related documents.
  3. Review developer outputs, including design specifications, source code, test specifications, and test results, ensuring quality, consistency, and proper error-handling practices.
  4. Prepare test specifications, including unit tests, integration tests, performance tests, and other relevant testing documents.
  5. Support Senior Software Engineers (SSE) in aligning project deliverables with quality standards, ensuring consistency with business requirements, and identifying potential technical risks.

 

Qualifications:

  1. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software application development.
  2. Strong logical thinking, analytical, and review skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and risks in technical deliverables.
  3. Experience in reviewing technical deliverables and identifying defects or inconsistencies.
  4. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as:
    1. PHP (e.g., CakePHP or Laravel frameworks)
    2. COBOL, Assembly, VBA, or other legacy programming languages
  5. Ability to handle end-to-end development tasks, including coding, debugging, troubleshooting, maintenance, and system enhancement.
  6. Ability to create clear and well-structured technical documentation.
  7. Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
  8. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  9. Self-driven, responsible, professional, team-oriented, communicative, and proactive.
  10. Japanese language proficiency (minimum JLPT N4 level) is preferred.
